C.J. Brown Energy, P.C.
Specialists in Energy Utilization, Conservation and Management

C.J. Brown Energy, P.C. is one of the leading energy engineering firms in New York State. For more than 15 years, we have worked with businesses, institutions, municipalities, state agencies and utility companies to identify, analyze and implement facility improvements that reduce energy use and operating costs.

Our energy engineers have studied facilities ranging from 1,500 to 1,000,000 sq. ft. in size, and we have identified millions of dollars of energy conservation opportunities. We develop, design and implement strategies that meet the client’s investment payback requirements and are consistent with sound engineering practice. We accomplish this through our knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, combined with our expertise in HVAC, lighting, electrical, refrigeration, and building envelope systems.

We’re here to help you understand the “how, when and where” of your facility’s energy use, and to work with you to achieve cost and energy saving results. We look forward to assisting you through the New York Energy $martSM Energy Audit Program!

NYSERDA
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is a public benefit corporation established by law in 1975 to provide energy-related technical and financial packaging assistance to businesses and institutions to promote energy efficiency and economic development.

All New York Energy $martSM programs are funded by a System Benefits Charge (SBC) paid by electric distribution customers of Central Hudson Gas and Electric Corporation, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., New York State Electric & Gas Corporation, National Grid, Orange and Rockland Utilities, Inc., and Rochester Gas and Electric Corporation. NYSERDA administers SBC funds and programs under an agreement with the Public Service Commission.

New York Energy $martSM programs are designed to lower electricity costs by encouraging energy efficiency as the State's electric utilities move to competition. The programs are available to electric distribution customers (residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial) who pay into the System Benefits Charge (SBC).

Please visit the NYSERDA website to learn more about NYSERDA, New York Energy $martSM, and the numerous State programs and services that can help you improve your energy efficiency and reduce your energy costs.
