What's included in the energy audit?
An experienced energy engineer from C.J. Brown Energy will perform a walk-through analysis of your facility and evaluate the energy using systems. You'll receive a report that identifies savings opportunities and the cost of potential retrofits. The report also includes project financial analysis, strategies to purchase utilities at lower cost, and other valuable information to help you make informed electrical energy decisions. And, we provide implementation assistance in completing application forms, finding contractors, reviewing installations, and more.
Is there a charge for the energy audit?
Yes. The fee is $100 for facilities with annual electric costs of less than $25,000, and $400 for electric costs from $25,000 to $75,000.
Is an energy audit really worth it?
YES!!! It's a low cost investment that pays off, because C.J. Brown Energy focuses on realistic energy efficiency improvements that are cost effective to implement.
Are there incentives to implement the audit findings?
YES! You can be eligible for a reduced interest rate loan, incentives for the purchase and installation of energy-efficient equipment, and a refund of the energy audit fee. Add in the savings on energy costs, and you'll see that your energy efficiency improvements can actually pay for themselves!
