The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has selected C.J. Brown Energy as a Flexible Technical Assistance (FlexTech) Consultant. The primary focus of the FlexTech program is to increase productivity and economic competitiveness in New York and to encourage the implementation of cost effective energy conservation measures.

NYSERDA has contracted with C.J. Brown Energy to provide technical assistance to New York State organizations, custom tailored to their energy related needs. These services include:
• Engineering feasibility and technical assistance studies.
• Detailed analyses of specific energy-efficiency projects.
• Process improvements.
• Technical training and seminars on energy-efficiency topics and technologies.
• Engineering in support of project-financing proposals.
• Commissioning of energy-efficiency measures from pre-design through post-installation.
• Sustainable development and green building assistance.

The following organizations are eligible for the FlexTech program:
• Industrial and commercial facilities.
• State and local governments.
• Not-for-profit and private institutions.
• Agribusinesses.
• Colleges, universities, public and private K-12 schools.
• Multifamily facilities.
